You can have Fridge Milktart using 8 ingredients and 16 steps. Here is how you cook it.
Ingredients of Fridge Milktart
- Prepare of condensed milk.
- You need of milk (measured in the condensed milk tin).
- You need of cornflour.
- You need of vanilla essence.
- It's of eggs.
- It's of tennis biscuits.
- It's of Ground cinnamon.
- You need of Butter.
Fridge Milktart instructions
- Pour the condensed milk out into a bowl.
- Measure 3 tins of milk in the condensed milk tin and pour into a pot on high heat.
- Add butter and let boil.
- Separate egg whites from yolks.
- Place egg whites in separate bowl.
- Add yolks to condensed milk & stir well.
- Add yolk & condensed milk to milk & butter and bring to medium heat (stir continuously as this step burn quickly).
- Add 3 tablespoons of cornflour to a bit of water, stir well and add to pot mixture (stir continuously!) until mixture thickens.
- Remove mixture from stove add vanilla and set to cool..
- Beat egg whites till stiff.
- In a tart pan cover the bottom with tennis biscuits.
- Slowly fold egg whites into cooled pot mixture.
- Slowly pour pot mixture over tennis biscuits (NB! slowly as to not shift or lift biscuits).
- Cover top with cinnamon.
- Set in fridge to cool. Or eat it immediately..
- Too be honest, my tart barely ever makes it to the fridge.
