- It's 3 cups of exe mandazi flour.
- It's 1 of large egg.
- You need 1/2 tsp of cinnamon.
- You need 1 cup of milk.
- Prepare 1/4 cup of sugar.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of margarine.
Soft Mandazis instructions
- Sieve your flour and mix it with margarine until it feels like sandy soil..
- Add cinnamon and sugar to the flour and mix well..
- Mix milk and eggs n whisk abit.Add it to the flour little by little as you knead.knead for 3 to 4mins until soft n not sticky..
- Çover the dough in a cling film wrapped with a kitchen towel for 20mins and place in a warm place..
- Unwrap it after 20mins.Knead it for another 3 to 4 minutes on a floured top..
- Cover it with a cling film and kitchen towel for 30mins again..
- Flour your working top,roll your dough and cut it into 8 pieces and make balls.
- Roll each ball into a round shaped 1cm thick and cut into quarters.Repeat the same for all balls as you align them on the tray..
- Heat your deep frying oil and fry your maandazis on a medium heat for about 2mins both sides.Serve with hot beverages and enjoy..
