  1. It's 2 cups of self raising flour.
  2. You need of Sugar to taste.
  3. You need 1/4 table spoon of cardamom.
  4. Prepare 3/4 cup of milk.
  5. You need 1/4 cup of cooking oil.
  6. It's 2 of eggs.
  7. You need 1 litre of cooking oil for deep frying.

Cardamom Flavored Mandazi step by step

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients (flour,sugar and cardamom).
  2. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl then add the 1/4 cup of oil and pour in the milk.
  3. Onto the dry ingredients, pour in the liquid.
  4. Mix thoroughly using a whisk or mixer.
  5. When the dough is now heavy,knead using your hand to make a soft dough.
  6. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30minutes.
  7. After 30minutes,cut the dough into small portions for ease in rolling out.
  8. Roll out one portion at a time and then cut out to desired shapes.
  9. Heat the oil in a deep frying sufuria then place enough pieces to the sufuria then let it cook to a golden brown colour.
  10. Remove from the oil and let it drain.
  11. Serve as desired,with tea or a snack.
