It is quite different from the popular Nigerian Jollof Rice because this recipe uses Palm Oil and other indigenous Nigerian spices. Palm oil jollof rice recipe is almost similar to the popular Nigerian jollof rice made with vegetable oil.

- You need of Spices: white pepper 1/4, black pepper 1/4 mix spices 1/4,.
- Prepare of Curry 1tblspn.
- It's 1 tsp of Thyme.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Salt.
- It's 1/2 tsp of Garlic paste.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of Ginger pasta.
- You need 2 cup of Palm.
I woke up one day and made a quick early morning craving. Growing up in Nigeria, Palm oil rice was a staple. It was easy to cook without any hassle. It involves the use of palm oil, spicy peppers, cray fish and dry fish.
Palm oil jollof rice instructions
- Parboiled your beans, drain and set aside.
- Wash your pepper, Scotch bonnet, onion, Grate them together and set aside.
- In a pot add in palm oil and onion fry for 2mnt, add in grated pepper, ginger and garlic saute for 3mnt.
- Add all your seasoning and spices saute for 1mnt, pour water in and allow to boil.
- Add in wash rice stir and cover the pot until half done cook.
- Then add your parboiled beans and stir, cover the pot and cook until the water drain up or until your rice is well cook, add in your fried fish and onion cover the pot and allow it to simmer for 3mnt. Serve and enjoy πππ.
